Bove Bove op de beurs!

Bove Bove at the fair!

Last weekend, Bove Bove exhibited at the Big Brother of Games fair in the Brabanthal in Haasrode — and what an experience it was. A crowded hall, enthusiastic game fans, and three titles that together provided a lot of excitement.

Secret Hitler: surprisingly many questions

Secret Hitler is a game of political intrigue and betrayal in 1930s Germany, where each player is secretly assigned the role of liberal or fascist — and one person is the secret Hitler himself. The concept elicits quite a few reactions, which we also noticed at our stand. People stopped, read the box, furrowed their brows… and then started asking questions anyway. The name makes people pause for a moment, but once explained — and certainly once played — everyone understands the appeal.

Marimic: the surprise of the day

Not everyone was familiar with Marimic yet, but those who tried a demo were immediately won over. Marimic is a musical trivia game where you play over 3,700 popular songs using one compact card deck, and where you try to guess the year and origin of songs from the 1950s to 2024. It works with Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music.

Café Baras: the top seller ☕

And then there was Café Baras — undoubtedly the crowd favorite of the day. Café Baras is a card-drafting and tableau-building game from the creative team behind Creature Comforts and Maple Valley. You build the coziest capybara café, with the right food, drinks, and perfect decor to turn casual visitors into regulars. Cute illustrations, easy to play, and simply a very good game. The boxes flew home with people.

We are already looking forward to the next fair. Until then, you can find all three games in our webshop — including a number of other gems that are also worth checking out. 👀
