What is the game about?
Gotham City is the backdrop for an endless battle. Batman and the Joker are polar opposites — one unwavering in his justice, the other delightfully chaotic in his villainy. This two-player card game centers around that eternal cat-and-mouse game: both players build their deck from a shared market, but the true ambition is to attack the opponent directly. If you defeat him, he rises stronger than ever. Knock him down three times — then it's over.
How do you play the game?
Both players start with an identical starting deck and take turns buying more powerful cards from the shared Line-Up. Attack power allows you to attack your opponent directly instead of hitting cards from the Line-Up; Block cards protect you from that. Each player has three oversized character cards that get stronger each time they are defeated — the first one to "knock out" their opponent three times wins immediately. If the Line-Up runs out, the player with the most Victory Points wins. The set is fully combinable with other DC Deck-Building Game products.
