What is the game about?
In a far, far future, even intergalactic sewers need to be built, and none other than Corporation Incorporated is crazy enough to take on the job. As the company's new cargo pilot, you build your own spaceship from prefabricated sewer pipes—bent, strange, and anything but sturdy—in the hopes of delivering faster than your competitors. Your ship must be strong, armed, spacious, and above all, fast, because along the way, a cocktail of pirates, meteor showers, and bizarre space disasters await. The whole game feels like a chaotic, humorous space job where nothing ever goes according to plan—but that's precisely the fun.
How do you play the game?
Galaxy Trucker consists of two phases: first, you build your ship in real time by blindly drawing tiles, checking them, and correctly connecting them to your hull. You puzzle over engines, lasers, cargo holds, cabins, batteries, and more, with every mistake punished severely later. Once everyone is ready, the flight phase begins, where cards reveal what's happening one by one: pirates, meteorites, diseases, abandoned ships, cargo planets, battles, and much more. Sometimes a card wins, sometimes it costs half your ship—and sometimes you're completely blown out of the race. After three rounds of increasingly large ships, the player with the most credits wins.

How is the game experienced?
Galaxy Trucker is pure chaos: a mix of puzzle solving, panic, timing, and the agony of seeing your carefully constructed ship fall apart. The real-time building makes the game incredibly exciting, while the flight phase offers a perfect balance between taking risks and hoping your construction doesn't spontaneously explode. The humor and theme contribute enormously, making even losing feel fun. An absolute must-have for players who enjoy energetic games full of surprises, damage, scrap… and fantastic space stories.
