What is the game about?
Gloomies transports you to a colorful, almost fairytale-like world where aliens derive their identity from the flowers they wear. As you play, you'll gradually build a floral landscape with galactic hues and hidden patterns.
How do you play the game?
In the first half of the game, you play cards to place flowers in rows on the board, building strong positions. The cards you discard during this phase form your deck for the second half. You then use these cards to strategically harvest flowers from the same rows, always focusing on bonuses and combinations. At the end of the game, you score points for harvested flowers and completed Gloomie tasks.

How is the game experienced?
Gloomies stands out for its two-part structure, which offers more depth than you might initially expect. The transition from sowing to reaping feels logical and creates a strong sense of planning: what you plant in the first half completely determines how cleverly you score in the second. The game exudes tranquility, but beneath that simplicity lies a sharp puzzle where timing and card management make all the difference. The result is an elegant experience that is both thematically sound and tactically satisfying, without getting bogged down by overwhelming options.
