What is the game about?
Somewhere in the Italian hills, where the sun shines low over the olive trees and every farmer swears by their own breed, rivalry buzzes. The Livornese, the Padovana, the Siciliana — each breed has its pride, its uniqueness, its place in the pecking order. With this expansion, the breeder trades their familiar breeds for three authentic Italian varieties, each with the same color coding as the original cards. The pollaio gets a new character, the objective cards new challenges, and the competition for the most beautiful barnyard an Italian touch.
How do you play the game?
Hens: Italian Breeds is an expansion for the base game Hens and cannot be played standalone. The expansion includes cards for three new Italian chicken breeds that completely replace the original breeds, while maintaining the same color coding so everything integrates seamlessly. Additionally, two new objective cards are included, providing extra variation and new end-game scoring objectives. These new objective cards can also be combined with the original breeds from the base game.
