What is the game about?
Summer is over, and in Sweetwater Grove, the trees are turning gold and red. The queen has assigned her hardworking bees new tasks for the last season before winter: apples, pears, and pumpkins must be harvested and sold, the hive is decorated with colorful autumn leaves, and the very last nectar reserves are carefully covered to withstand the cold. Veteran bees who have given their best years deserve an honorable retirement at the harvest festival, while the sunset counter relentlessly ticks down to the approaching winter. Sweetwater Grove has never harvested so vibrantly and yet so melancholically as in this autumn expansion.
How do you play the game?
Fall Flavors is a modular expansion for Honey Buzz with five independently combinable modules. The Sweetwater Sunset module replaces the end-game trigger with a sunset track that advances on specific game events—this module forms the foundation and is always recommended when using other modules. Fall Fruit introduces a new field board with fruit (apples, pears, pumpkin) as a collectible good in addition to honey tiles; Nectar Caps lets players cap nectar cells for end-game points but blocks further production on those cells. The Autumn Leaves and Harvest Festival modules respectively add leaf scoring on the hive board and a bee retirement system, where retired bees perform a final action or make a toast.

How is the game experienced?
Fall Flavors is an enrichment expansion that doesn't redefine the base game but systematically deepens it: each module adds an extra layer of decision-making without altering the core of Honey Buzz. The most praised component is the Fall Fruit module, which replaces the somewhat passive pollen mechanism with fruit that has its own value and specific orders, giving each turn more weight. The Harvest Festival and Nectar Caps modules are described by reviewers as intuitive and always advisable to include, while the Autumn Leaves module adds a bit more cognitive load and is better suited for players who are already very familiar with the base game. The production style — with squishy miniature pumpkins, pears, and apples — seamlessly matches the high component quality of the base game. For those who enjoy playing Honey Buzz and are looking for more variety, this is an obvious addition.
