What is the game about?

The orchard is laden: mangoes, bananas, cherries, and pears color the branches in the late seasonal light. Narrow water channels run between the rows, determining which areas are fertile and which are not. As a picker, you carefully choose where to place your fruit, because a bunch in the wrong spot yields nothing. What begins as a quiet harvest gradually becomes a matter of accurately assessing when to strike and when to wait a little longer.

How do you play the game?

Taking turns, you take an orchard card from the market and place it in your own grid. You try to form groups of identical fruit. If you score such a group next to a water drop with the exact same value, you score points. But be careful: if you're too eager or the value is just off, the entire group of fruit may be worthless. At the end, the player with the most points wins.

You can play this game with 1 to 5 players, from 8 years old. The duration is approximately 20 minutes. The language of the game is Dutch, but you can play it completely language independent.

How is the game experienced?

Mango looks simple but can be surprisingly sharp. It's a constant balancing act: do you play it safe, or do you take the risk of scoring more later? That makes it exciting until the end, without complicated rules. Ideal as a light family game or a tactical filler, especially for players who enjoy puzzling with limited information and that little bit of tension with every move.
