What is the game about?

Deep in the jungle, you stumble upon a hidden entrance. Curiously, you descend into an underground dungeon where time seems to have stood still – but the battle has never ceased. Ancient Romans, cunning Greeks, mysterious samurai, and other age-old warriors have been fighting here for generations over precious treasures. The lure of gold is too great to resist. Before you know it, you're in the thick of the fight, determined to escape with the richest spoils. But the question remains: will you ever get out of here?

How do you play the game?

In Mini Dungeon, two players collaboratively build a 4x4 grid of adventurer cards, with treasure cards along the edges. Each adventurer has a strength value and a unique ability that allows you to strengthen, weaken, or move neighboring cards. At the end of the game, the player with the highest total strength in each row and column wins the corresponding treasure. For added depth, you can start with a draft phase to build your own deck, and there's a trap module for even more variation. The player with the most coins on collected treasure cards wins.

This is the ideal game for...

How is the game experienced?

Mini Dungeon is a lightning-fast and compact tactical card game that offers surprisingly complex puzzle fun in just ten minutes. Placing adventurers in the shared grid feels like a tug-of-war: each card affects both a row and a column, forcing you to constantly switch between attacking and thwarting. The face-down samurai cards add a fun bluffing element, and the optional draft phase gives experienced players extra strategic control. Reviewers praise the game as a charming filler that is quick to learn and, thanks to its direct interaction, keeps no one passive at the table. An ideal quick game for two players that you'll keep reaching for.
