What is the game about?

Pokémon Splendor combines the strategic gameplay of Splendor with the world of Pokémon. Players collect Poké Balls to catch and evolve Pokémon, with the goal of becoming the ultimate Pokémon Master. Unique mechanics like Pokémon evolution and Master Balls add an extra layer not found in the original game, making the game all the more enjoyable!

How do you play the game?

During your turn, you may collect Pokéballs, catch a Pokémon, or reserve a Pokémon.
When you collect Pokéballs, you either take three Pokéballs of different colors or two Pokéballs of the same color.
When you catch a Pokémon, you pay its cost in Poké Balls and add it to your collection. Each Pokémon you catch earns you a permanent Poké Ball of a specific color, which you can use to catch future Pokémon. The more Pokémon you have, the easier it becomes to catch stronger Pokémon that are worth more points.
If you reserve a Pokémon for later use, you lose a turn, but you gain a Masterball to catch even more Pokémon.
The player who first collects 18 points wins the game.

This is the ideal game for...

You can play this game with 2 up to 4 players, starting from 8 years. The duration is approximately 30 minutes . The game language is Korean, but you can play it completely language independent .

How is the game experienced?

Pokémon Splendor builds on Splendor's trusted engine-builder, but adds a nostalgic Pokémon theme and a fun evolution mechanic that makes the game a bit deeper and more playful. The game retains the same smooth flow and accessible rules, but feels more thematic thanks to the first 151 Pokémon and the character cards. The quality and atmosphere are high, and the gameplay remains as fast, tactical, and addictive as the original. Conclusion: an absolute must-have for both Splendor fans and Pokémon enthusiasts.
