What is the game about?
France awaits: from the lavender hills of Provence to the rugged coastline of Brittany, the vineyards of Bordeaux, and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps. In Postcards, you cycle through thirteen beautiful regions, each lovingly illustrated like a true travel poster. You visit iconic places, pitch your tent at local campsites, and collect souvenirs along the way. And, of course, you send postcards home—because what's a holiday without a stack of cards on the doormat?
How do you play the game?
Each turn you play three Travel cards, and for each card you choose: perform an action (move to an adjacent region, collect a postcard, or pitch a tent) OR convert the card into a stamp on one of your postcards. If you have all the stamps on a card and you are in the correct region, you can send it – this earns you points and a Gift card with a bonus. Pitching tents puts souvenirs on your cards that provide small advantages, and whoever is the first to occupy all campsites in a region immediately scores points. The game ends as soon as someone has sent their fourth postcard; after that, everyone plays one more turn, and the player with the most points wins.

How is the game experienced?
Postcards is praised for its exceptional illustrations — the postcards and game board truly look beautiful, and the small wooden bicycles make a big difference to the atmosphere. As a family game, it works excellently: rules are clear in one turn, turns are quick, and the core (taking an action or applying a stamp) is simple yet still requires planning.
