What is the game about?
Welcome to the most comprehensive sushi restaurant you've ever visited. The menu is endless: in addition to the familiar nigiri, tempura, and sashimi, steaming edamame, tempting eel, delicate miso soup, and stacks of uramaki are now on the menu. Before the first menu slides across the table, you choose together which dishes will be served tonight — ensuring each game is a new culinary adventure. The cards fly from hand to hand, the tension rises, and plans are made and thwarted all around the table. And with room for eight hungry guests, the sushi bar becomes a vibrant feast where no turn goes unnoticed.
How do you play the game?
Before the game begins, you jointly create a menu by choosing eight dishes from over twenty menu cards—each with a unique scoring method. Over three rounds, everyone receives a hand of cards, simultaneously chooses one card to keep, and passes the rest to their neighbor until all cards are gone. Combinations such as pairs of tempura, trios of sashimi, or ascending sequences of dumplings earn points, while special cards like wasabi, chopsticks, and the takeout box provide additional tactical opportunities. Dessert cards are kept separate and are only scored after the third round. The player with the highest total score after three rounds wins.

How is the game experienced?
Sushi Go Party! elevates the popular original by adding a modular menu system that provides immense replayability: with over twenty dishes to choose from, no two games are ever the same. The pick-and-pass principle remains brilliantly simple, but the additional card types — from edamame to miso soup — offer significantly more tactical depth and surprising interactions. The included game board with a score track and recessed menu slots gives the whole a polished, clear appearance. Reviewers consider Party! the definitive version to own: it includes all cards from the base game plus much more, scales excellently for larger groups, and remains just as quick to explain. The ultimate upgrade for existing Sushi Go! fans and the perfect entry model for newcomers who want to dive right in.
