What is the game about?
The conveyor belt is moving and the sushi delights roll past. Tempura, sashimi, nigiri with a hint of wasabi, crispy maki rolls and tempting dumplings — everything passes by in a colourful procession of dice with irresistibly cute faces. You're sitting at the bar of the busiest sushi restaurant in town and every dish that passes is one that your opponents also have their eyes on. Grab what you want, pass the rest on and hope something delicious comes back. And don't forget dessert: whoever collects the most pudding at the end has the last laugh.
How do you play the game?
Sushi Roll is played over three rounds in which each player rolls a set of dice and places them on a conveyor belt. In turns, you choose one die from your own belt and place it on your tray, after which all belts move on and the remaining dice are re-rolled. Menu tokens allow you to re-roll dice, and chopsticks allow you to steal a die from an opponent. At the end of each round, you score points for collected combinations such as tempura pairs, sashimi trios, and the most maki rolls, while pudding only counts after the last round. The player with the highest score after three rounds wins.

How is the game experienced?
Sushi Roll translates the beloved pick-and-pass system of Sushi Go! into dice, adding a delightfully unpredictable element: after each choice, all remaining dice are re-rolled, making every turn feel fresh and exciting. The menu tokens and chopsticks provide just enough tactical grip to compensate for the element of luck without slowing down the pace. The charmingly illustrated dice with their expressive sushi faces are a treat for the eyes and make the game particularly inviting for young and old. Reviewers praise Sushi Roll as a filler game that is lighthearted enough to engage everyone, but offers sufficient decision points to keep experienced players on their toes. An ideal snack that calls for a rematch after every game.
