What is the game about?
The mega-corporations have made their decision: not everyone can come. The spaceships are ready for departure, the countdown is on, and every position on the ships can make the difference between survival and being left behind. As a representative of a powerful corporation, you move people up, down, and from ship to ship — but no one knows exactly which positions will earn you victory points. Who will have most cleverly maneuvered whom into the right spot when the countdown hits zero?
How do you play the game?
Players take turns playing orders to move people up or down within the spaceships, or to move them between ships. If you want your hand cards back, you pay for it: the countdown goes back one step. If the countdown reaches zero, the ship in question takes off. Players then reveal their secret objective cards and score points based on who occupies which positions in the ships. After all ships have taken off, the player who has collected the most points wins the only ticket to Mars.

How is the game experienced?
Ticket to Mars is a compact and fast-paced party game that handles its apocalyptic theme with a light touch. The core tension—playing your orders or taking back your hand and thereby accelerating the countdown—gives each turn a small tactical choice that perfectly suits the short 15-minute playtime. The game works best as a light opener or filler, with the secret objectives providing plenty of surprises and table talk.
