Unmatched Marvel: Teen Spirit

Unmatched is an asymmetrical card combat game where each hero has a unique deck reflecting their playstyle. On your turn, you take two actions: maneuver (draw a card and move fighters) or play a card as an attack or scheme. Attacks are resolved without dice: the defender plays a defense card and the values determine the outcome. Ms. Marvel attacks at range and gets a free move every turn, Squirrel Girl sends out tiny squirrel tokens that can occupy spaces, and Cloak & Dagger switch positions when defending and redistribute their hit points between themselves. This is a standalone game, fully combinable with all other Unmatched sets.

Teen Spirit is considered by reviewers to be one of the most creative Marvel sets in the Unmatched series, especially due to how differently the three characters play. Squirrel Girl's squirrel tokens introduce a new kind of threat to the board, while Cloak & Dagger, as a duo, present a puzzle in themselves where balance and timing determine everything.
