What is the game about?

Gold fever has hit Golden River, and the region's rich and powerful are getting nervous. Who will protect their interests as tensions rise? In the saloon, the members of the seven most wanted gangs lean against the bar – gunslingers whose loyalty is for sale to the highest bidder. You can pour beer or whiskey to win favors, aim your weapon to take cards, or play smart tricks to outwit the competition. Four rounds of beer or whiskey later, Golden River's fate will decide who has gathered the strongest protection.

How do you play the game?

The game lasts four rounds of bidding and settling. Players bid with cards to recruit gunslingers from the open offer, or to outbid each other. Special actions let you buy a round of beer or whiskey for advantages, aim your gun to take cards from opponents, or play tricks to swap heroes among yourselves. After each round, you score protection points based on who is in your gang. After four rounds, the player with the most protection wins.

You can play this game with 2 to 6 players, from 8 years old. The duration is approximately 20 to 40 minutes. The language of the game is Dutch/French/English, but you can play the game completely language-independently.

How is the game experienced?

Wanted 7 is an accessible snack that atmospherically plays out its Western theme: the beer-and-whiskey actions give the whole a lively, humorous layer that fits the setting well. The combination of bidding, stealing, and tricks provides more interaction than in a regular bidding game. The playing time of twenty to forty minutes makes it suitable as an opener or a closer for a game night. Don't expect deep strategy, but guaranteed fun in the group.
