What is the game about?

In Dawn, the village awakens once again to uncertainty: no one knows who to trust, because each player has a unique, powerful role. During the night, these roles use their special actions—often even crazier, more dangerous, and more unpredictable than in the base game. At sunrise, the debate erupts again, and the village must decide who is the werewolf. The sense of paranoia and mind games is greater than ever, especially because Dawn perfectly combines with the original One Night.

How do you play the game?

Each player receives one secret role from the new set of eleven characters. During the night, each role activates a special power, which can view cards, swap cards, or provide new information (or misinformation!). Players then discuss who they suspect and vote for one person to be "linched." If a werewolf is hit, the village wins; otherwise, the werewolf side wins—just like in the base game.

This is the ideal game for...

You can play this game with 3 to 10 players, from 8 years old. The duration is approximately 10 minutes. The language of the game is Dutch, but you can play it completely language independent.

How is the game experienced?

Dageraad makes One Night even more fun by adding roles that delightfully ramp up the chaos. The new combinations keep every game fresh and often lead to completely unexpected endings. The balance of bluffing, logical reasoning, and total paranoia is perfect for groups that enjoy fast-paced, loud party games. Highly recommended as an expansion—and even as a standalone mini version.
